Choice of payment terms for our advice by fee or adviser facilitated charging fees for our advice are discussed at the first meeting and although we do not normally charge a fee for the first meeting, the cost of our advice from the outset is factored into our overall fee. Please see our Client Information Disclosure Document which outlines our terms of business, which we will provide to you at our first meeting.

We are happy to be paid by the investment or product provider if they facilitate adviser charging or by direct fee from the client. In some circumstances it may be beneficial for the fee to be paid by the investment provider and in certain circumstances it is more tax efficient for our fee to be paid from the investment fund.

We will always explain the payment options to you at the outset and again at the recommendation stage, so you can decide on which payment option you prefer.

Generally there is some flexibility on charging terms. For lump sum investments, we can work on a percentage basis or an hourly rate, or if you want to know the actual cost at the outset, we will work on a fixed fee basis.

Clearly our fee will depend on the work involved and complexity of the advice.

Client Servicing

We will discuss with you the level of servicing that you require and the costs involved and you can choose what level of servicing you require. Although investments are intended normally for the medium to long-term and our recommendations are designed to stand the test of time, we feel that it is important to keep your investments under review to ensure that they are on track to meet your changing requirements and objectives and are within your risk profile.

We are based in South Manchester and advise clients throughout the UK and overseas – from the Shetland Isles to the South coast of England and as far afield as India!  Many of our clients are happy to make use of modern technology and work with us via the telephone, post and email, however we regularly meet with clients at various locations across the UK including Edinburgh, Liverpool, Manchester, Belfast, London & Bristol.

We can visit you at your home if you prefer, using public transport wherever possible.
